StarWars Day With Animator Damon Wellner And GeekFestUniverse

May The 4th Be With You! Happy StarWarsDay!

Join GeekFestUniverse and Award Winning Animator Damon Wellner in a LiveStream Stop Motion Animation Fiesta!

To Celebrate May4th “Star Wars Day”, Damon will have a micro budget set built for under $20, and with it he will animate a quick, freestyle Star Wars Stop-Motion Animation featuring FOUR of his favorite practical effects (meaning done in-camera) #Holograms #Lasers #Explosions and #Lightsabers!

Damon Wellner is a Multi-Award International Stop Motion Animator Bringing Toys to Life Since 1998!

His experimental toy animation videos caught the attention of MIT Professor Henry Jenkins, who wrote about them in his book, Convergence Culture, as an example of fans parodying Hollywood with its own merchandise. He’s worked in house on practical effects for films such as Hellboy, The Punisher, and Resident Evil 2.

He’s the Animator behind Sia’s Award winning MusicVideo “Snowman” and countless of #FanFilms on his favorite Film Franchise #StarWars!
